Flory Hamstra was born in Puerto Rico to Dominican parents. She is not a Colorado native, but she is a mother to one, soon to be two! She moved to Colorado at the age of 12; just in time for the Broncos to win the Super Bowl two years in a row. Her first years in America saw plenty of orange and blue.
Flory began her education at the Art Institute of Colorado, followed by graduate school at the University of Colorado Denver. She holds a bachelor’s in Interior Design and a master’s degree in architecture. This field is her passion because architecture is the practice that [literally] shapes our world. She believes that a focus on well-designed spaces and high-quality of life create happy communities.
During her free time, Flory enjoys trying out new restaurants with her husband and building Lego empires with her son.
