Growing up in a small town in Michigan led Rae to appreciate the outdoors but also sparked a curiosity about the built environment. After moving to Colorado in 2011, Rae decided to pursue her passion for design and construction and enrolled in the Masters program of Architecture at the University of Colorado – Denver. Although most of her time has been spent with her head in books and an eye on the prize, Rae also enjoys painting and going for long walks with her husband and dogs.
