Summer Internship - DENVER

We are seeking one summer intern to join our team! At KEPHART, one of our Core Values is “Commitment to Improvement”, and we place strong emphasis on education to improve both professionally and personally.  You will be working in-person with a variety of people at our Denver office gaining hands-on knowledge and experience.   

Summer Program Dates: June- August 2025 

4 Days (or) approximately 30 Hours per Week – 10 Week Duration (flexible schedule)  

Qualifications – Completion of one of the following:  

  • 3rd Year of Undergraduate program in Architectural Studies 
  • Graduate Student pursuing M-Arch Degree 
  • Recent Graduate (Bachelors or Masters Program) 
  • Prior professional Architectural Experience not necessary 
  • Some Revit experience preferred

Salary:  $ 20-22/hour 

Benefits:  

  • Sick Leave Accrual of 1 hour of paid leave for every 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours a year.

Sr Project Manager - PHOENIX

Last year, we expanded by opening a second office in Phoenix and are looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our expansion and contribute to the growth of our new office with the support of our well-established firm.

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager who is eager to help grow our new Phoenix office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing multiple small to medium-sized architectural projects, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality results.

Preferred Qualifications

  • +8 years of experience in architecture project management
  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture
  • Expert ability to navigate and interpret codes, including IRC, IBC, and zoning codes
  • Proficient in Revit with a minimum of 3 years on the job experience
  • Multi-family experience, minimum 3 years preferred
  • Exceptional ability to self-manage and with specific attention to detail, organizational skills, time management and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and team-oriented attitude

Range of Responsibilities

  • Manage and document multiple projects
  • Coordinates all aspects of assigned projects
  • Estimates scope of work
  • Collaborates with team members, coordinates work effort within office and/or with consultants
  • Directly interface with clients, city personnel and contractors during all phases of a project
  • Accountable to Principals for the quality and timeliness of the work
  • Assembles project documentation from schematics through construction drawings
  • Coaches/supports and coordinates team members on design task/production
  • Responsible for project schedule, workflow, background and AJH schedules.
  • Coordination and redlining of documentation
  • Responsible to provide direct documentation and team related feedback

Compensation

Salary Range:  $ 85,000 – $ 110,000 annually, pending level of expertise

Potential for an annual bonus based on the company’s profitability and an individual’s job performance

CA Project Manager - DENVER

We are seeking a Construction Administration Project Manager to lead multiple projects at a time with limited supervision in our Denver office. The CA PM performs the architect’s roles and responsibilities from the start of the construction phase through project completion and turnover to the client. This position also works closely with the architectural studio during the design phase as a resource in construction detailing and best practices. The ideal candidate is resourceful, self-motivated, and able to multi-task with the ability to demonstrate effective conflict resolution.

This role involves some site visits mostly in the metro area with potential out-of-state travel approximately 2 days a month which requires the candidate to be located in the Denver metro area.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in architecture construction documents and contract administration
  • 3-5 years’ experience in Multifamily with concrete and wood frame construction
  • Architectural detail problem-solving
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task
  • Basic Microsoft Office Suite and Construction Management Software

Desired, but not required:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture or Construction Management

Range of Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical expertise and assist in training architectural staff
  • Attend construction meetings and OAC’s
  • Evaluate construction conformance with contract documents, quality and code requirements through on-site observation and field observation reports
  • Review, evaluate and respond to RFI’s, submittals and shop drawings
  • Monitor and coordinate construction document changes and ASI’s

Compensation

Salary Range:  $ 81,000 – $ 91,000 annually, pending level of expertise
