Construction Administration Project Manager - DENVER

Job Description

We are seeking a CA Project Manager to lead multiple projects at a time with limited supervision. The CA PM performs the architect’s roles and responsibilities from the start of the construction phase through project completion and turnover to the client. This position also works closely with the studio during the design phase as a resource in construction detailing and best practices.

The ideal candidate is resourceful, self-motivated, and able to multi-task with the ability to demonstrate effective conflict resolution. This role involves some site visits mostly in the Denver Metro area with potential out-of-state travel approximately 2 days a month which requires the candidate to be located in the Denver metro area.

Required Qualifications:

Experience in construction documents and contract administration

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task

Desired, but not required:

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture or Construction Management

3-5 years’ experience in Multifamily with concrete and wood frame construction

Range of Responsibilities:

Provide technical expertise and assist in training staff

Attend construction meetings and OAC’s

Evaluate construction conformance with contract documents, quality and code requirements through on-site observation and field observation reports

Review, evaluate and respond to RFI’s, submittals and shop drawings

Monitor and coordinate construction document changes and ASI’s

Salary Range:  $ 80,000 – $95,000 annually, pending level of expertise

Marketing & Communications Coordinator- DENVER

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Marketing & Communications Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate has prior A/E or design related experience and is fun, creative, resourceful, and an excellent writer.

Range of Responsibilities:

Manage website and all digital assets

Create and execute social media plans

Analyze metrics from all marketing platforms to inform marketing decisions

Develop, edit, and produce marketing content and materials including qualification packages, award submissions, blog posts, feature articles, etc.

Coordinate photo shoots and video production

Maintain company marketing files and databases for company contacts, photo library, and marketing materials

Coordinate attendance at events including meetings, speaking engagements, and tradeshows

Required Qualifications:

Excellent writing skills and a passion for writing and creating content

3-5 years relative experience performing the responsibilities noted above

Excellent proficiency in Microsoft 365, Adobe Creative Suite, and WordPress

Graphic design skills and strong attention to detail

Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a variety of different personalities

Exceptional organizational skills including – strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple requests and assess priorities, and proven ability to meet deadlines

Last year, we expanded by opening a second office in Phoenix and are looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Project Manager or Director of Studio to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our expansion and contribute to the growth of our new office with the support of our well-established firm.

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager or Director of Studio who is passionate about business development and eager to help grow our new Phoenix office. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of local municipalities in the Phoenix area and will be responsible for leading project teams both locally and out of state. Additionally, this role includes a joint position as a CA Project Manager for local projects in the Phoenix area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with business development efforts in the Phoenix area.
    • Attend industry-related conferences
    • Network with developer clients, engineers, and general contractors
  • Collaborate with local municipalities and understand their regulations and requirements.
  • Participate in the growth and development of the new Phoenix office.
  • CA Project Manager for all local projects in the Phoenix area.
    • Attend construction meetings and OAC’s
    • Evaluate construction conformance with contract documents, quality and code requirements through on-site observation and field observation reports

  • SR PM / DoS Responsibilities
    • Manage and document multiple projects

    • Collaborate with team members, coordinate work effort within office and/or with consultants
    • Directly interface with clients, city personnel and contractors during all phases of a project
    • Accountable to Principals for quality and timeliness of the work
    • Assemble project documentation from schematics through construction drawings
    • Coach/support and coordinate team members on design task/production
    • Responsible for project schedule, work-flow, background and AJH schedules.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in architecture preferred; Bachelor’s required
  • Licensure, preferred but not required
  • +10 years of experience
  • Expert ability to navigate and interpret codes, including IRC, IBC, and zoning codes
  • Proficient in Revit with a minimum of 3 years on the job experience
  • Multi-family experience, minimum 3 years required
  • Exceptional ability to self-manage and with specific attention to detail, organizational skills, time management and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and team-oriented attitude
  • Strong knowledge of local municipalities in the Phoenix area.

Compensation

Salary Range:  $ 100,000 – $ 110,000 annually, pending level of expertise
