In 1974, Mike Kephart laid the foundation for something extraordinary. He was an architect with a dream and a desire to design exceptional buildings with an inclusive and empowering work environment. He envisioned a world where EVERYONE deserves a well-designed place to live, work and play. Fifty years later, this belief still drives us to create thoughtful homes and communities that add value and change people’s lives. We are known for our residential design expertise because of the foundation Mike laid for our firm. Five decades and more than half a million homes later, KEPHART has remained at the forefront of innovation for multifamily designs. Working with over 300 clients across the country, you can find our communities in 23 states, ranging from single and multifamily homes to workforce housing, senior living, LIHTC communities, and everything in between. With a sole focus on only designing housing, we have a solid understanding of how to design sought-after communities that residents enjoy and perform well for our clients.
