KEPHART is proud to share an update on Harvest Hill Apartments, a new 152-home affordable housing community designed to bring comfort, connection, and opportunity to residents in Broomfield, Colorado. Developed by Ulysses Development Group, this NGBS-certified multifamily community embodies a holistic approach to affordable living—one that prioritizes quality design, sustainability, and a sense of belonging.
Set on 5.77 acres, the four-story, center-hall community offers a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments designed for individuals and families earning between 30–70% AMI. The architecture is welcoming and functional, with two landscaped courtyards that form the heart of the community. These outdoor spaces feature covered seating, a playground, and gathering areas that encourage connection among neighbors while offering moments of relaxation.
Inside, residents enjoy 3,500 square feet of shared amenity space, including a clubroom, a dedicated work-from-home lounge, and a children’s playroom that adds warmth and energy to daily life. With thoughtful details and flexible spaces, Harvest Hill supports the evolving design of affordable housing and the diverse needs of today’s residents.
Designed with active lifestyles in mind, Harvest Hill also features secure indoor bike storage for over 75 bikes and direct access to public transit along US-36, giving residents convenient access to Boulder and Denver. These features reduce reliance on personal vehicles while promoting health, mobility, and environmental responsibility.
Construction, led by Taylor Kohrs, began in May and is now well underway, with framing in progress. The community is designed to achieve NGBS certification and will include solar panels to help offset power use in common areas—lowering operating costs and supporting long-term energy efficiency.
Harvest Hill Apartments demonstrates how affordable housing can be both functional and inspiring. Every design decision—from the arrangement of courtyards to the inclusion of workspaces and family amenities—was made to enhance livability and dignity. By integrating thoughtful design with access to public resources, Harvest Hill sets a new benchmark for affordable, community-oriented multifamily housing in Broomfield, Colorado.
